Xander has a tale to tell. In May of 2013 Xander was turned into rescue the owners schedule was not working out for Xander.n June of 2013 his owners wanted him back, they had made some changes in their shcedule, we let him go home.

August 15, 2014: Xander is back! Pete picked him up from the Humane Society this afternoon. We know nothing about what he has been up to for the last year. We will update his bio in the next few days as he settles in.

August 14, 2014
Xander was left at the Humane Society by his owners, there is house is too small.  Once again they have turned Xander into a shleter.

May 17, 2013: Hi, my name is Xander and I need a new home. This is the story my family wrote about me.

Looking for a pet that truly considers himself one of the family, then you must meet Xander! This heartmelting handsome Dobie boy loves to be in the middle of everything. He is fantastic with children of all sizes and loves visitors once he sees that they are welcomed by you.

I am a faithful, loving, gentle and protective Dobie I am 100% "Velcro" I love to snuggle, fetch, go bye-bye, and explore. I have a 4ft. chain link fence and I have never made an attempt to jump over it.

Xander is housebroke and has never needed a crate. He is not destructive and doesn't scratch at the door or jump on people. His mischievous stunts include sneaking a comfy nap on the bed, and when you least expect it he will steal a slipper so you will chase him. He has never been table fed but if you walk away from the food it's fair game.

He is very sensitive to his family's moods and needs to be a part of the family.
