Hi, my name is Ginger and do I have a story to tell. I was dumped by someone, me and the Border Collier "Clown" in Hickory County Missouri. The main picture is of me "On the Run"!!!

This started on September 7th. a nice lady named Karen was driving down the road and saw me and the Border Collie (now named Clown) on the side of the road. Karen got out of her car and tried to catch us and we ran away!!!

Karen came back and put food and water out for us but we wouldn't let her get near us. She came twice a day for 19 days and she finally got us to come to her. It was an adventure, this is a country road you couldn't park on the side and you couldn't go into the woods to find us as signs were posted "No Trespassing"

"Me and Clown" are so happy that Karen kept trying and didn't give up. Midwest Doberman Rescue said they would take me if Karen could catch me and Karen kept in touch everyday. One day she brought hot dogs and cheese to try and catch us, we snatched the food and ran off quickly. The Fire Chief even came out one day and tried and help.

Sunday night September 25th. Karen called Debbie and said I have them. What a happy day for us we were safe and sound.

Karen and her husband drove me to St. Louis and Clown is going to a rescue closer to Hickory County.  

I am a precious Dobie Girl and have perfect house manners. I will go in a crate but I don't need to be crated and I love Sophie she's 9 years old. I don't know about me and kid's any younger.
