My name is Cabo I am a large strong male Doberman. I have excellent house manners and I love to sleep in my crate. I love atttention and if I am not getting enough I will create a scene and draw attention.

I am very stong willed and will not do well in a home with alot of activity. Once you get to know me I am a Big Baby. I get along fine with the senior male Dobie that I live with, he's doesn't like to play much, he's old and he is deaf, I think I drive him crazy!!!

I don't want to live with any young children but I did do fine with Sophie she is 7 years old but she has been taught how to behave around Dobermans.

I am a working breed dog and I need something to do, I am the 5th. smartest breed in the world. I can learn anything and do it the best. If you have the time and the patience I will be your life long companion and make you Proud and make me an Ambassador for the Breed.

NOTE:

A secure fenced in yard is required. A representative of Midwest Doberman Rescue will conduct a home visit for before any adoptions are made. Midwest Doberman Rescue requires year around heartworm protection for our animals in your care. Midwest Doberman Rescue will contact your veterinarian periodically to confirm that your dog is receiving heartworm preventative and required health care. Adoptions only made to homes within a 100 mile radius of the St. Louis metropolitan area. No adoptions to homes with children under 8 years of age.

Special Needs: Requires obedience training, you have to stay one step ahead of this Big Dobie Boy.
