Hi! My name is Danica. I was picked up as a stray along with my friend Heather. We haven't had much socialization. So many things in the world are completely foreign to us. HOWEVER, we are making progress each day. Heather and I attended Petfest in Maplewood and made some new friends. The kind people at Baronwood Kennels put us up in their penthouse suites until there were some foster home openings for us. I am in a new foster home and doing great, we are working on my housebreaking and so far no accidents. Us Dobermans are easy to train we love to learn. I get along with the other Dobies here and when I get tired of everyone I go take a nap in my crate.


A secure fenced in yard is required. A representative of Midwest Doberman Rescue will conduct a home visit for before any adoptions are made. Midwest Doberman Rescue requires year around heartworm protection for our animals in your care. Midwest Doberman Rescue will contact your veterinarian periodically to confirm that your dog is receiving heartworm preventative and required health care.

Adoptions only made to homes within a 100 mile radius of the St. Louis metropolitan area. No adoptions to homes with children under 8 years of age.
